An Interview
The local NPR affiliate wrote a feature story about my new book of poems, Broken Hallelujah and on the strange, stubborn beauty of turning prairie loss into poems.
If you’ve ever wondered what possessed me to write about wind, grief, grass, and God, this interview gives you the bones of it. It’s about land. It’s about absence. It’s about what praise sounds like when it’s cracked but still standing.
I’m grateful for the careful reporting, and for you. Truly. Books do not travel on their own. They move because readers carry them, mention them, press them into someone else’s hands.
If the work has meant something to you, thank you. If you’re new to it, welcome.
You can read the story at Tri-States Public Radio.

Cranking it up! Many congratulations!!!
Great interview! Love hearing you read. : )
